Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!!!

Yesterday my school celebrated "Read Across America Day." The kids and the teachers had a blast. It was the best "Read Across America Day" we have had thus far. The kids were allowed out of uniform and they were to dress as their favorite character or wear a shirt with a lot of writing.
We had plays, puppet shows, and guest readers from the community come and read to the kids. The older kids came and read to the lower grades. My first graders love when the older kids come and read to them. We even ate green eggs and ham as one of the teacher read "Green Eggs and Ham." What a day!
